Snow Angel 04:38
She loved the snow Loved most to be his angel With the wings of white Across a pillow case sky Opens his eyes Loves what she looks like In the Morning Never once did she ever cry Nobody ever left her life She didn't mean to mess this up How time has turned and dealt her bad luck She don't know How to hope anymore Spider webs of blood vessels Hide under her brow Under these eyes The bags they tell of a tired life From all the times She lied awake at night She thought the sun could rise up And melt off the whore frost She felt about as cold as the wind itself As she laid down and put her arms out

Living Skies 04:21
We woke up under the sun The tents burn out and our time has come We're gone We aight never coming back Found ourselves young and free Between the streams and the pine trees We're gone We aight never coming back I want to live and die In the land of the living skies We stayed up and the dark the rum On ice with a campfire song We're gone We aight never coming back I want to live and die In the land of the living skies We chased down between the trees Loved the way the day felt on me We chased down hill side We were swimming in the sunshine We chased down the cold creek Drinking skinny with the red stained teeth We knew summer'd end All the while it was worth it We want to live and die In the land of the living skies

Sangria 03:49
I wanted it bad Blue skies over the badlands I wanted it bad Looked down at my beaten hands Don't come back With the bottle in hand She smiled and she laughed I might just have We drank sangria all night long We drank sangria in the dark We drank sangria She wanted me bad Hadn't met my demons yet She wanted me bad One ghost can haunt a man Don't look back She always lived in the past She smiled and she laughed Your a half empty glass We drank sangria all night long We drank sangria in the dark We drank sangria Just enough of this juice Just enough to sustain you While you pour your poison Down my throat We drank sangria all night long We drank sangria in the dark We drank sangria

Coming Home 02:59
Something about the road that leads me on Cigars the wine and the telephone It makes me dizzy in my bed Gonna make me dead Last i remember well you wouldn't talk I bent your feelings its all my fault It makes me crazy what I say Gonna shake my head I'm coming home What about the white down and the fields of gold can't be sold Storm made for the rainbow now don't you know that The words don't matter what mattered most You never cared to listen so listen close I pulled up with the porch light Something in my head my heart said what's going on You make me crazy you're not there Gonna leave me here? I'm coming home

Brother 04:26
Every morning when you rise I'll be right by your side Hoping you might Open your eyes Yes you did come first Since then the roles have been reversed Nothing could be worst Then losing you Oh brother I need you now This love should be enough I believe I'll see the sun come up I'm gonna stay up all night Is this love gonna be alright? Oh brother I need you now We had energy Competitive tendencies I remember we ran Faster than most children can You almost gave up If I wasn't there you would have We always had our ways To motivate Oh brother I need you now This love should be enough I believe I'll see the sun come up I'm gonna stay up all night Is this love gonna be alright? Oh brother I need you now This love should be enough This bond was made with blood

The Quilt 03:19
When I sleep The angels they come to me And when they speak it sounds Like they're singing The holy ghost it won't leave me alone When I die When I go I hope the prairie quilt will Keep me warm When I sleep Them demons start whispering Through forked tongues It sounds like their singing We've been there before And we all been low When I die When I go I hope the prairie quilt will Keep me warm I sold my shovel to dig the grave I hear that sound again It won't go away
7.
Be My Time 03:16
Forty years to the day Sun in the same place I started wondering how few May still remain When friends become my foes The music has no notes The sun no longer shines I know then this might be my time Where is the light Could this be my time Curled in a ball of pain Pumped full of morphine The light shines down on me But no smile to fill my cheeks If friends become my foes If the music has no notes If I can't feel the sun shine I know then it should be my time Where is the light Could this be my time

The Venus de Milo Used to be the epitome Of a beautiful body So they've been chipping her away How many more hits until this Body breaks Counting down the days She counts the calories and the magazines that say Check which model lost so much weight She kept the tits but lost the waist It's so sad But it seems to be like that These days Never met a dad who always said The goals to be beautiful on the inside Never met a mom who didn't pass on Her own baggage and problems It's so sad But it seems to be like that These days The Venus de Milo Used to be the epitome Of a beautiful body So they've been chipping her away How many more hits until this Body breaks
